1. Our faculty includes leading clinicians, writers, software developers and
researchers who have active practices. That means our instruction is
based upon real-time clinical experience. Most instructors are visible at
national conferences.

2. Students are introduced to several effective treatment models. Experience
has shown that no one model is broad enough to resolve all therapy issues. For
example, there are several effective models of psychotherapy such as cognitive,
dynamic and family systems theory. Consequently, the eclectic model of
psychotherapy has beeen widely accepted. In the same way, we train our
students to be ready to engage the most effective model; that is, the one that
fits the client best. We avoid getting locked into the latest fad in neurofeedback.

3. We strongly believe neurofeedback therapy must be administered by
professional health care providers not the general public. Therefore, our
professional certificate training programs are limited to bonified professionals.
However, we also offer education programs for the public who are seeking
personal benefit.

4. We recommend that all of our students invest in medical grade equipment that
has been reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the USA.

5. Our certificate programs are especially designed to help professionals become
nationally certified in biofeedback. The concept of national certification has been
adopted by most alternative therapy disciplines. How much more so should it be
adopted by the field of biofeedback which is both an alternative therapy as well
as a long-recognized medical based model.

6. Once initial training has been completed we offer group mentoring for those
just getting started in neurofeeback. In order to be granted national
certification, professionals must complete a fixed number of mentoring hours
(supervision hours) along with practice hours.

7. We offer on-site training for small groups of professionals who need personal
attention delivered directly to them at a place convenient to them. Some of our
faculty members also offer short internship programs and individual training.

8. Each workshop held in Cleveland, Ohio is preceded by one free day of training
on equipment. That's right, one day of training is included in your tuition free at
no extra charge!!
